Bridget Awosika was never one of those Nigerian designers who felt the need to wax on and on about African prints to authenticate their claim in the African Fashion Industry. Awosika's brand was one of the first truly international brand we saw emerge from the new crop of young Nigerian designers.
Her design aesthetic is clearly geared at the young, fashion forward, an African woman who views herself correctly as a global citizen. Bridget's designs are
world class. She's a living proof, the fact that African designers are just as good as their European and American counterparts.

Bridget discovered her love for fashion and chased her dreams all the way to Parsons School of Design, before working as an intern at
Donna Karen and then
Giorgio Armani. After a year at Armani, Bridget decided to start her own line and the mastery of fabrics and design exhibited at these two fashion power houses is evident in her impeccable work.
Bridget designs beautiful clothes, decadent fabrics with breath-taking detail and superb styling. You'd kill to get into one of her designs for how bad-ass they make one look. *
